Most Burzlaffs are in the districts of Buetow, Rummelsburg, Schlawe and Bublitz. Here and there Burzlaff's resided also in West-Prussia in the area around Karthaus and Berent. The 2 places with name "Burzlaff" are interesting:

• Burzlaff/Borzyslaw as "Vro" in the district Rummelsburg between Varzin and Misdow
  
  From this place I know that about 1850 a "Hofmeister" named Burzlaff lived there. Later his name was used for this place.

• Burzlaff/Borzyslaw as village in the district Belgard between Gross Tychow and Belgard. There is also a "Burzlaff-mill and a Burzlaff- forest.
